New to CLC? This is how it works

Over the year we have three terms each lasting for six weeks. CLC runs on Monday evenings from 8.00 – 10.15pm. The Autumn Term, for which booking is now open, will be from Monday 3rd November until Monday 1st December, held at Wolfson Hillel Primary School.

This term we will be offering you a choice of eight courses in Session A from 8.00 – 8.55pm, and the opportunity to hear a celebrity interview in Session B from 9.20 – 10.l5pm. There will be a break between Sessions when participants of all the courses will come together for a chat and refreshments. The SEED Foundations Course will run without a break from 8.15 – 9.45pm.

Once again, we will be offering an early evening supper available for £4 per head. There is no need to pre-book: you can just pay on the evening.

Our programme provides a broad range of courses to choose from. All you need to do when booking is to choose the course in Session A that you would like to attend. In Session B everyone will join together for the celebrity interview of the evening. If you would like to switch to a different course during the term, you can do so without any further formality.

The registration for the term costs £50. This provides you each week with a high quality lecture and an opportunity to hear the celebrity interview over a five week period. The fee for each evening is £10, or for one session is £7.50. If you book one session for the whole term the cost is £35. Or you can book for the year at the special price of £120.

In the event that you have financial difficulties, please mention this when booking and we will be happy to accommodate you. School pupils and students may attend free of charge and parents of Wolfson Hillel Primary School are entitled to attend the Foundation Course also free of charge.

Booking for the Autumn Term is now open. You can register by post and pay by cheque by filling in the registration form at the back of the brochure or by calling Ruth on 020 8368 2082. If you wish to pay by credit card please ring Louise on 020 8886 8225.

Take a look at the following pages and make your choice. Course details can be found in the brochure and will be available here soon.

After the break at 9.20pm, each week Rabbi Fine will interview a distinguished personality on pertinent issues relating to the Jewish Community today. We will hear their views on an amazing array of topics ranging from the dismantling of the Apartheid Regime in South Africa, Shakespeare and the Jews, to Anti- Semitism and the terrorist threat to Jews today, with much else besides.

Each speaker will enlighten us through their own personal experiences and expertise.
